I just wanted to send a short note thanking you for the lovely instrument. I got it the day after we got back from our trip. It is an object of beauty, visually and audibly. The sound quality is absolutely beautiful. My other dulcimer (which cost so much more) sounds rather twangy if you know what I mean. This dulcimer has a beautiful mellow sound to it. Thank you so much for giving me such a beautiful gift.

I received my dulcimer yesterday, the sound is very sweet ( not knowing a better word ). The feel is solid, a wonderful instrument. I also love the design anddark stain. I already bought a couple of books and I am looking for a CD that will help me get started.
